Steven M. Siros, Program Co-Chair, a partner with Jenner & Block LLP, is a member of the Firm’s Climate and Clean Technology Law, Defense & Aerospace, Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Law, Insurance Litigation and Counseling, and Products Liability and Mass Tort Defense Practices.

David D. Streicker, Program Co-Chair, is a Senior Counsel in the Energy, Environment, Land Use, and Government Practice Groups at Holland & Knight. His practice is focused on complex project finance and development, with emphasis on energy, brownfields, and corporate site selection.

William J. Donohue, Assistant General Counsel with Exelon Business Services Company in Philadelphia, has over 30 years of corporate in-house experience. He manages the Environmental, Health & Safety Legal Group and is involved in all aspects of EHS compliance and strategy for Exelon.

Steven Frenkel is the Chief Policy Advisor at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency where he helps direct the state’s climate change policy and oversees the agency’s energy initiatives. He represents Illinois in the development of the Midwestern Greenhouse Gas Reduction Accord.

Suzanne Malec-McKenna, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Environment since 2007, brings more than 15 years experience in environmental issues including sustainable development and ecological preservation and restoration. She has served the past 14 years in the Department of Environment.

Ronald Meissen, PhD, PE, is Senior Director of Sustainability within the Corporate Environment, Health and Safety group at Baxter International, Inc. and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is principally responsible for managing a number sustainability and greenhouse gas reduction programs at Baxter.

Brian G. Rice is founder and principal of Atrium Carbon Fund LP and Rice Dairy LLC. Rice Dairy LLC is a registered aggregator with the Chicago Climate Exchange to provide carbon services to dairy farms that practice methane capture and destruction.

William Schleizer, an Associate Director at the Delta Institute, manages the Delta Carbon program which assists landowners implementing conservation activities to obtain carbon credit revenue and maintain those environmentally beneficial projects.

Jason Schmitt, Fund Manager for the Clean Technology Fund at ArcelorMittal, is responsible for commercial strategy and M&A/joint venture activity within North and South America. He was previously a consultant at McKinsey & Company focused on e-commerce and served as Manager, Business Development, for Mattel.

Gabrielle Sigel, a partner with Jenner & Block LLP, is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Climate and Clean Technology Law Practice and a member of the Firm’s Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources Law Practice. Her practice focuses primarily on environmental, safety and health litigation, and toxic tort defense.

Sube Vel is an Associate of Conestoga-Rovers & Associates and a senior environmental engineer. He is an accredited lead greenhouse gas (GHG) verifier in the State of California. His professional experience encompasses over 24 years of environmental work in the areas of air quality, energy and pollution control.

Michael J. Walsh, PhD, is an Executive Vice President of Chicago Climate Exchange, Inc., the world’s first active, legally binding integrated trading system to reduce emissions of six greenhouse gases. Previously, with Environmental Financial Products, he arranged several international carbon credit transactions.
