Nicole Faghin, Program Co-Chair, is Director of Planning and Environmental Services at Reid Middleton, Inc. where she has been practicing for over 15 years. She is project manager for master planning, and permitting of shoreline projects.

Charles R. Wolfe, Program Co-Chair, opened his own law offices in 2005 after a career at large law firms. He is also an Affiliate Associate Professor of Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington.

Lynne Barker is a Sustainable Development Planner with the City of Seattle. She is responsible for promoting sustainable building and community development and focuses on identifying and resolving code barriers, and creating development incentives.

Mary Kate Berens is the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Bellevue. She is primarily responsible for matters relating to the Planning & Community Development Department, including land use permitting and appeals, and development agreements.

Brent Carson, a partner at Buck & Gordon LLP, has extensive experience assisting clients in complying with environmental regulations concerning wetlands, threatened and endangered species, and shoreline protection.

Michael Feldcamp is a senior legal and policy analyst for the Toxics Cleanup Program at the Washington State Department of Ecology and implements the Model Toxics Control Act.

Linda N. Goetz is a senior Archaeologist and Cultural Resource Specialist with Landau Associates. She has more than 17 years of experience in cultural resource management.

Kristine Holm founded Water Resources Northwest after many years as an environmental consultant and planner and later as an attorney specializing in water related issues. She was a long-time chair of the Washington Business Water Quality Commission.

William H. Kreager, FAIA, is a principal at Mithun where he brings in-depth knowledge of master planning and marketing through his close alignment with the housing industry.

Andrew S. Lane is an attorney with Cairncross & Hempelmann PS where his practice focuses on land use and environmental law,. including permitting and enforcement issues.

Mark Larsen is a senior project manager with RETEC’s Seattle office. He assists private and public clients with the purchase and redevelopment of contaminated properties.

Joshua M. Lipsky is an attorney with Cascadia Law Group PLLC. His experience includes representing private and municipal clients on environmental matters including hazardous waste cleanup, brownfields redevelopment, and regulatory compliance with RCRA, solid waste and clean water act permitting requirements.

Laura H. Lohman is a project manager at The Seneca Real Estate Group. She provides real estate advisory and development management services to a wide range of public and private clients.

Faith L. Lumsden, director of the Governor’s office of Regulatory Assistance, leads the collaborative efforts of state agencies to improve business processes and results, simplify procedures, and assist those who deal with the state regulatory system. Her background is in land use and environmental permitting, permit streamlining and growth management planning.

Douglas C. MacCourt, a partner at Ater Wynne LLP, Portland, focuses on land use, natural resources, environmental and Indian Law. He developed the Portland Brownfield Initiative and Portland Livable Community Showcase programs.

John C. “Jack” McCullough is an attorney with McCullough Hill, PS where his practice concentrates on land use and real estate financing and development. His land use experience includes areas such as Growth Management Act compliance, zoning, shoreline regulations, environmental compliance and wetland regulation.

Jerry Ninteman, PE, is a principal at Landau Associates. He has 20 years of site remediation experience and has managed the preparation and implementation of numerous plans to support the assessment and cleanup of contaminated sites.

Harry F. Reinert works on environmental, growth management, and legislative issues for King County’s Department of Development and Environmental Services. He updates King County’s critical areas regulations and the County Comprehensive Plan.

Steven J. Thiele, practices in the Resources, Development and Environmental Practice Groups at Stoel Rives LLP. He focuses on hazardous waste, land use and environmental issues for both public and private interests. He is the former chief toxics cleanup attorney for the Washington State AG’s office, Ecology Division.

Thomas M. Walsh is a member at Foster Pepper PLLC. He is the Chair of the Land Use Practice Group and concentrates his practice in land use and environmental law.

Richard Weinman is senior principal with Huckell/Weinman Associates, Inc. He has over 20 years of land use planning and regulatory issues experience including management and preparation of EISs for plans and projects.
