Richard T. Beal, Jr., Program Co-Chair, is a partner with Ashbaugh Beal LLP, and chairs the firm’s Property Damage Solutions Group. His practice focuses on insurance coverage law, construction defect, liability and damage claims, and litigation for commercial policy holders, including construction company policyholders and parties to general commercial agreements.

Gregory L. Harper, Program Chair, is a founding member of Harper | Hayes PLLC. Throughout his career, he has represented almost every conceivable type of commercial policyholder in insurance coverage disputes, including business owners, homeowner associations, commercial property owners, developers and general contractors.

Mark N. Thorsrud, Program Co-Chair, is a shareholder with Thorsrud Cane & Paulich. His practice emphasizes insurance coverage and insurance defense matters including product and professional liability, construction defects and injuries, and environmental remediation, with an emphasis on environmental coverage litigation.

William S. Berman, Special Counsel with Duane Morris LLP, practices in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance coverage, with an emphasis on working with clients to resolve contract, business torts, unfair business practices, and employment disputes.

Chris Carlson is senior policy advisor, property and casualty, with the Office of the Insurance Commissioner, State of Washington.

Edward R. Coulson currently chairs Foster Pepper PLLC's construction practice group. He has more than 30 years of complex construction and commercial litigation experience. Mr. Coulson has represented clients in all aspects of the construction industry, including public and private owners, owners' associations, developers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and product manufacturers in state and federal courts, arbitrations and mediations.

Gregory L. Dillion, founding partner of Newmeyer & Dillion LLP, focuses on insurance law, construction litigation, business litigation, lending and finance, and real estate litigation.

Ronald S. Dinning iis a sole practitioner who represents insurance companies in coverage and bad faith disputes. He frequently serves as a mediator for insurance-related disputes and has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics each year since 2004.

A. Richard Dykstra is a shareholder at Stafford Frey Cooper. For 30 years, his practice has focused on issues of insurance coverage and good faith claims handling. He has served as coverage counsel for Puget Sound real estate developers, advising on liability coverage for claims against them.

Linda L. Foreman, a partner with Bowers Foreman PLLC, focuses on insurance coverage with emphasis on commercial property and liability, builder’s risk and construction defects.

Michael P. Grace practices construction law with Groff Murphy PLLC where he provides counsel and litigation services to general contractors, owners, sureties and insurers.

Elim A. “Max” Hanley, CPCU, ARM, AIC, a stockholder with Propel Insurance, works with commercial accounts and has particular expertise in the construction industry.

Todd C. Hayes, a member of Harper | Hayes PLLC, represents contractors, developers, homeowners, and other policyholders in insurance coverage litigation, construction defect litigation, and appeals. He has litigated cases regarding nearly every type of insurance policy available.

Kenneth Hobbs is a shareholder at Stafford Frey Cooper, where he primarily represents policyholders in lawsuits arising out of insurance coverage disputes.

D. Bradley Hudson is a partner in the firm of Hudson Youngblood. He advises insurers and insureds on insurance coverage issues in construction defect claims.

Pamela Jardine, AAI, senior vice president and shareholder with Kibble & Prentice, works with commercial clients to develop comprehensive property and casualty insurance programs.

Dale L. Kingman, a partner with Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell LLP, concentrates on complex insurance coverage disputes involving first and third party claims, intellectual property, fidelity and commercial crime insurance, professional liability, construction and commercial litigation.

Patrick H. LePley, founder of the LePley Law Firm, has been a practicing attorney since 1975 and has earned a reputation as an expert in all types of tort and insurance law.

Russell C. Love, a shareholder with Thorsrud Cane & Paulich, frequently advises insurers on coverage issues involving pollution claims, construction defect claims, and fidelity coverage claims.

Zachary O. McIsaac, an attorney with Ashbaugh Beal LLP, practices insurance coverage litigation on property, commercial general liability, builder’s risk, business liability, directors & officers and professional risk liability policies. He represents owners, developers and contractors in complex litigation.

Tim Owen, CPCU, vice president and executive general adjuster at McLarens Young International, has developed a broad range of claim experiences since becoming a loss adjuster in 1978.

J. Kay Thorne, CPCU is principal of Thorne Risk Management Consulting, Inc. He is a licensed insurance agent and broker in WA, AK and CA, and has been involved in the insurance industry for over 36 years. He has provided expert witness and consulting services for policyholders and insurance companies on a variety of insurance related matters and has experience and expertise in claim handling, claim management and litigation management on a wide variety of large complex insurance claims.

James P. Wagner, a principal with Cairncross & Hempelmann PS, has spent nearly 30 years in the practice of civil litigation. He has represented property owners, developers, contractors, design professionals, investors, etc. in insurance coverage disputes and other matters.

Karen S. Weaver, an attorney with Soha & Lang PS, focuses primarily on insurance coverage and bad faith issues, with a secondary focus on civil appeals. Areas of expertise include coverage opinions, environmental law, construction defect coverage, and reinsurance recoverables advice and representation.

Deborah J. Youngblood is an attorney with the firm of Hudson Youngblood. Her practice focuses on insurance law.
