Beth S. Ginsberg, Program Co-Chair, an attorney with Stoel Rives LLP, focuses on environmental, wildlife and natural resource litigation, permitting, and counseling for both public and private interests She has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.

Mark L. Stermitz, Program Co-Chair, an attorney with Crowley Fleck PLLP, is an experienced litigator and environmental attorney with nearly 30 years experience in a wide range of cases and jurisdictions. He specializes in energy and natural resource matters.

John. B Arum is an attorney with Ziontz, Chestnut, Varnell, Berley & Slonim where he practices in the field of environmental law. He is on the Board of Directors for the Washington Environmental Council.

Adam Barber, CPESC, is a Senior Land Use Planner for Multnomah County, Oregon specializing in rural development reviews on difficult properties, including those with steep-unstable slopes and properties within the floodplain.

Lorraine Bodi is Senior Policy Advisor for Fish and Wildlife at the The Bonneville Power Administration. She is an attorney with over 25 years experience in natural resources law, fisheries, and hydroelectric proceedings. She has been a leader in negotiations to resolve natural resources conflicts, including settlements balancing fish needs and power operations.

Jesse Gronner is the Managing Director of Wind Business Development for Iberdrola Renewables, a leader in optimized energy solutions tailored to meet the needs of wholesale and large commercial and industrial customers.

William H. Holmes is a member of Stoel Rives LLP, and chair of the firm’s renewable energy initiative. He concentrates his practice in the area of energy law, with a special emphasis on wind, geothermal, biomass, tidal and ocean power, and other forms of renewable energy. He also has extensive experience with real estate law, water law, and general corporate transactions.

Michael Lang is Conservation Director at Friends of the Columbia Gorge since 1995, joined in 1993 as Forest and Land Use Coordinator. He oversees all aspects of the monitoring and litigation program, as well as playing a key role in the Friends of the Columbia Gorge lobbying efforts.

Jeffrey B. Litwak is Counsel to the Columbia River Gorge Commission, the interstate compact agency for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. His practice includes interstate compacts, administrative law, land use, state and local government law, and civil appeals.

Steve Mashuda a staff attorney in the Northwest office of Earthjustice, focuses primarily on Columbia-Snake River salmon litigation for the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition.

Kristin Meira is the Government Relations Director with Pacific Northwest Waterways Association. She is responsible for working with federal and regional officials to identify, define, analyze and resolve public policy issues that affect PNWA's membership.

Mason D. Morisset, a Director with Morisset Schlosser & Jozwiak, has served as legal advisor and consultant for various commercial development projects, such as timberland development and improvement, construction enterprises, telecommunications and tribal economic development initiatives.

J. Rachel Shimshak has served as Executive Director of the Renewable Northwest Project since its inception in 1994. On her watch, RNP has supported the implementation of more than 2,700 MW of wind, geothermal and solar resources in the Northwest.

James C. Waldo, a partner with Gordon Thomas Honeywell LLP, has a general civil practice with emphasis on complex negotiations, project permitting and implementation, and representation of public and private entities in multiparty negotiations.

Ian Whitlock is an Assistant General Counsel for the Port of Portland, where he provides advice on environmental matters related to the Port’s marine, aviation, and industrial operations, including working with Port environmental staff on navigation, dredging, and marine facilities operations.

Jean Williams is Chief of the Wildlife and Natural Resources Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division, U.S. Department of Justice, a position she has held since 1999.

Robert E. Willis is the Environmental Team Lead at the Northwestern Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He oversees environmental compliance and planning activities for five Corps of Engineers Districts.
