Robert K. Carrol, Program Co-Chair a partner with Nixon Peabody LLP, chairs the firm’s western U.S. Labor and Employment law practice and leads its Beverage Alcohol Group. He advises, represents and trains clients in various areas of employment and labor law.

Daniel P. Harris, Program Co-Chair, a partner with Harris & Moure PLLC and co-manager of the firm’s Asia law practice, mainly represents companies doing business in emerging market countries. He writes and speaks extensively on Chinese law, with a focus on protecting foreign businesses in their China operations.

Fraser Mendel, Program Co-Chair, a partner with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, is an international corporate law attorney with over 16 years of experience handling a range of international matters in China and Asia, particularly in technology industries.

Sage Brennan, co-founder of China Luxury Advisors, first visited China in 1987 and has been studying and speaking the language and culture ever since. He has worked in China as a researcher, investor, entrepreneur, journalist and advisor, with a specialization in digital, mobile and strategy.

Darryl Custer, AIA, Principal and Vice President of Operations and Management with Callison, Inc., has more than 15 years of retail design and project management experience. He leads projects through a coordinated process to ensure the end product clearly reflects the client’s goals and vision.

Renee Hartman, CFA, co-founder of China Luxury Advisors, specializes in understanding and selling to the emerging Chinese consumer. She has worked as a brand owner, retail operator, consumer researcher, public relations specialist and market entry strategist in China.

Tony Liebo is a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager, Pacific Northwest Region, Global Banking, with Wells Fargo. He manages a team of banking professionals who deliver a full range of international and commercial services to large corporate and middle market companies.

Xiaohui “Lou” Luo is Operations Manager of Chang International, Inc., a global seafood trading corporation and industry leader in Chinese seafood products. The company operates a subsidiary, Qingdao Evergreen Foods, as well as a processing plant, Chang International-Qingdao, in China.

Julie Felss Masino, Vice President of Global Beverage with Starbucks Coffee Company, currently leads its global beverage business. She has responsibility for all espresso, Frappuccino and new category innovation in beverage for Starbucks.

Michael T. McCune, Director of Global Advisory Services at Iconoculture, is a retail/consumer marketing consultant with deep knowledge of the Chinese marketplace. He oversees the firm’s ChinaFocus Program, an immersion experience that takes executives to China and exposes them to factors impacting the evolution of China’s consumers.

Benjamin A. Shobert is Founder & Managing Director of Rubicon Strategy Group LLC, a consulting firm specialized in market access strategy in emerging Economies. He is a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.

Michael A. Zakkour is Principal at the China/APAC Group of Tompkins International in New York. He has more than 15 years of experience in international market strategy and consulting, primarily in China and Southeast Asia.
