Seminar Overview

Our 2017 seminar is now available. Click to view.

This seminar will cover topics directly relevant to California’s medical marijuana laws and Northern California medical marijuana businesses, including the Federal versus State conflict issues and State versus local law conflicts. It will also discuss in detail the recently passed Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act and what practitioners and medical marijuana providers can expect from imminent regulations in the future. This seminar will also provide insight into California’s potential recreational legalization initiatives set to go on the ballot in 2016.

Attendees will hear directly from leading practitioners and state officials about the changes and progress along the road to current laws and future legalization measures. This seminar will also address access to banking, tax planning and controversy, land use, products liability and quality assurance concerns, marijuana-related contracts and transactions, and the legal/ethical parameters and tensions arising from practicing in this emerging and developing industry.
