This seminar provides an overview and update of eminent domain legal issues and land valuation, with emphasis on emerging issues and recent Washington court decisions.  It will include a review of the eminent domain process and cover hot topics in condemnation cases, appraisals, and relocations.

This program is designed for anyone involved in eminent domain — whether as an attorney, appraiser, government official, or owner. You will hear from leading attorneys and appraisers with extensive practical experience in eminent domain.

This year’s program includes the return of Keith Kemper’s always entertaining update on legal developments in eminent domain, and a panel covering the rapidly emerging area of condemnation of government owned property. In the afternoon our topics include utility corridors, business relocation and once again Bates McKee and Anthony Gibbons will be sharing perspectives on appraisal issues.
