Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP, Program Co-Chair, is a Managing Consultant at Spire Consulting Group LLC. He has over 15 years’ experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry for both public and private sector clients. He specializes in resolving construction-related disputes for complex projects as well as providing forensic services.
Erwin Watt, Program Co-Chair, Vice President at Cumming Corporation, has worked in the construction industry since 1986. He manages projects from conception through design, permitting/construction, and through to completion/occupancy. He is responsible for leading the dispute resolution & avoidance and scheduling line of services on behalf of the company.
Geoffrey Bachanas, CCM, is a Regional Operations Manager at Kitchell CEM and serves as Director of their Bond Program. With over 15 years in capital improvement, his experience includes leading and directing diverse programs and project teams, as well as consistent success in administering large multi-million dollar capital improvement programs.
Michael Boomsma, PE, CCM, LEED AP, is the Senior Vice President of Cordoba Corporation’s Education and Facilities sector. He has formal education in business and civil engineering, along with a background in leadership and management. He oversees construction trades and coordinates with academic governance to ensure timely DSA approvals.
George D. Calkins, II, serves as a neutral for JAMS and for Calkins ADR. He is a nationally recognized mediator/arbitrator with more than 35 years’ experience, including two decades as a neutral. He has presided over thousands of ADR proceedings involving diverse legal and factual issues and partnered with the courts to resolve numerous complex cases.
